JUNIPERUS COM HIBERNICA
Grower Notes:
Juniperus communis 'Hibernica' is commonly known as Irish Upright Juniper. This award-winner was introduced in 1838 and has stood the test of time.
It is a slow-growing, needled, evergreen shrub with a narrow columnar habit when young, becoming more broad and pillar-shaped with age. It features soft looking blue-green slightly feather foliage.
Irish Upright Juniper is easy to grow and care for. It thrives in full sun in nutrient-rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. Perfect as a specimen plant or for windbreaks, hedges and foundation plantings.
